Be More Like Your Dog
Hi, I’m Andrew Knapp. I’m an author and dog photographer, and simply put, I started this project to get us all to go outside a little more. Our dogs are amazing role models, and there’s always something to learn from them. I probably don’t have to tell you what it means to Be More Like Your Dog, but if you feel like it, you can tell me what it means to Be More Like Your Dog.
10% For Charity
Every couple of months (TBD), we’ll choose a new organization to donate 10% of profits to. Currently, donations are being sent to Sulala Animal Rescue, working hard to rescue animals in Gaza.
It started with Momo.
I started this project with Momo in mind, that dog who hides in those books. What you might not know is that when Momo showed up in my life, I was more of a homebody. This dog needed to move, and like it or not, he dragged me outside every day until the trails became routine, and routine became adventure. Now, even with Momo gone, I still get out there, because I owe him that much. It’s not just about exercise; it’s about building the habits and the grit to get through the harder days.
Be More Like Your Dog started as a simple idea—look at a dog, feel better. Now, it’s become something bigger. A kind of club for anyone who gets it: a way to honor the dogs we’ve lost and live fuller lives for them, and for the dogs we’re lucky enough to still have by our sides.
